The Forgotten Front Military history archive
About the archive

History is written by the ones who were counted.

The Forgotten Front tells the true stories of people whose courage history nearly forgot: the medic who would not carry a rifle, the scout who would not talk, the pilot who never came home.

We make films for YouTube, Facebook and TikTok, and this archive keeps every story together, with the sources behind it, free for anyone to watch and read.

What we have built, and what comes next.

Phase 01 Complete

The channel

Our YouTube channel, Forgotten War Heroes TV, began in 2026, telling one story at a time.

Phase 02 Complete

The archive

This website: every film and story in one place, with its sources.

Phase 03 Next

Family films

Private films made with families about their own relatives.

Phase 04 Ongoing

More stories

New films every week, from every war and every side of the line.

Method

From one name to a finished file.

  1. 01 Find the story

A name comes from a citation, a memoir, a viewer’s message or a gap in the record.

  2. 02 Build the record

We gather the official citations, service records, memoirs and trusted histories, and note each one.

  3. 03 Check it

Where sources disagree on a number or a date, the story says so rather than picking the most dramatic version.

  4. 04 Publish and correct

Every story is free, with its sources listed. When we get something wrong, we fix it and say so.
